G7Cloud Managed WordPress hosts WordPress sites in isolated containers on UK infrastructure. Each site has a dedicated MariaDB database, while WordPress pre-installation, TLS certificates, firewall and bot protection, backups, uptime monitoring and migration assistance support the core hosting service. It is aimed at site owners, freelancers, studios and agencies that want managed WordPress with direct developer access through SFTP, WP-CLI and phpMyAdmin. The service is available through the web, with integrations for S3, Cloudflare R2, Slack and webhooks.

The plan structure covers several operating needs. Starter costs £12 per month and includes one hosted site, daily backups, email and DNS hosting, and SFTP access. Solo costs £29 per month and adds a dedicated MySQL database, while Solo Plus costs £59 per month and adds Git deploys with preview environments. Solo HA costs £99 per month and adds automatic database failover and priority support. The plan table also includes Free at £0 per month, but its listed benefit is the AI Website Builder only, rather than hosted WordPress. These tiers make the service easier to compare for a single-site deployment, although each hosting tier remains limited to one site.

The main distinction is the combination of isolation, operational controls and developer tooling. Automated backups include nightly restore testing, and per-minute monitoring can send alerts. Free automatic TLS certificates, including wildcard certificates, add useful coverage for sites and subdomains, while cloning can help with repeatable site work. ScaleShield provides firewall and bot protection, and assisted migration reduces the work involved in moving an existing WordPress site. G7Cloud suits owners who value dedicated resources and technical access over broad site capacity. It is less suitable for managing several sites under one plan, or for teams that require an included CDN or a support channel beyond email on most tiers.
