FYI is a cloud-based platform for accounting practices that brings document management, client workspaces, job and task management, workflow automation, time management, billing, and practice reporting into one system. It is aimed at firms managing client records, recurring processes, staff workloads, deadlines, and invoicing, particularly those centered on Microsoft 365 and established practice-management applications. Client collaboration is also part of the product through secure document sharing, upload folders, and co-editing.
The published plans are structured around increasing operational depth. Intermediate includes practice-management synchronization, email and attachment auto-filing, task management, client workspaces, document management, and job management. Pro adds a Kanban-style jobs board, workflows, collaboration, custom process automations, and access to all app integrations. Elite adds time and billing, reports, client maintenance, employee management, and AutoTime. FYI is paid, offers a 30-day free trial, and the global pricing page lists AUD prices excluding GST with a minimum of five users. Pricing varies by region, with UK pricing listed in GBP.
Integration breadth is a central reason to consider FYI. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Teams support a Microsoft-centric workflow, while connections to Xero Practice Manager, MYOB Practice Management, MYOB AE, APS, CCH Central, IRIS, Xero Tax, Xero, and Adobe Sign extend its practice-management and document ecosystem. Its feature set also reaches from email filing and search to capacity planning, timesheets, work in progress, invoicing, and AI-assisted email replies, summaries, filing, and task creation. Firms wanting a web-based system with broad practice operations coverage should shortlist FYI; smaller teams seeking a free plan or a lighter, narrower tool may prefer an alternative.
