Funio review
A developer-friendly shared host with strong runtime support, but a high entry price.

Funio provides shared web hosting for individuals, businesses and online projects that need website management tools alongside development support. Its web-based service includes cPanel, Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, automated backups, one-click software installation, email accounts, statistics and log files. The platform supports PHP, Ruby and Python, plus MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases, making it a fit for developers, small businesses and online projects that need more than basic static hosting. WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop and OpenCart are among the supported applications.
The plan structure scales from a constrained entry tier to higher-resource options. Economic costs $11.65 per month and includes one website, 20 GB of storage, 250 GB of bandwidth, 100 email accounts and 10 databases. Unlimited costs $22.25 per month and adds unlimited websites and storage, SSH, Git, Ruby and Python, up to 512 MB of RAM and up to 1 CPU. Startup costs $41.33 per month, while SMB costs $60.41 per month; both include the Unlimited features, email marketing, up to 896 MB or 1 GB of RAM, and up to 1.5 or 2 CPU respectively. Qualifying annual prepayment adds domain or SSL benefits on the applicable plans.
Funio’s main strength is the combination of cPanel administration, development runtimes, database support and operational basics in one shared-hosting service. Daily backups with 14-day retention, SSL and one-click installation cover common website needs, while eligible higher tiers provide more control through SSH and Git. The trade-off is cost and plan boundaries: Economic is limited to one website, and developer features are tied to higher tiers. Choose Funio if runtime flexibility, databases and cPanel matter more than the lowest entry price. Choose another host if you need several websites or development access on the cheapest plan.
