FTPManager Pro review
A focused iOS FTP client with broad transfer, editing, preview, and streaming tools.

FTPManager Pro is a paid file-transfer client for iPhone and iPad. It connects to FTP, FTP over TLS, and SFTP servers, giving users tools to browse, organize, copy, move, rename, and delete remote files. Its audience includes iOS users who need to manage server files away from a desktop, move content between servers, or handle documents and media directly on an iPhone or iPad.
The feature set extends beyond basic remote browsing. FTPManager Pro can copy files between servers and iOS devices, transfer files directly between two FTP servers, and provide a built-in FTP server for computer-to-iOS transfers. A text editor adds syntax highlighting and full-text search, while file viewing covers Office, iWork, PDF, EPUB, text, and photo files. Music and video streaming, dark mode, and nearby transfers between iOS devices make it suitable for a range of mobile file tasks.
Its main trade-off is focus. FTPManager Pro is designed for Apple mobile devices rather than desktop operating systems or a broad multi-platform workflow. Dropbox is supported, but the listed integration coverage is narrow compared with products built around larger cloud and development ecosystems. Choose it if iPhone or iPad access to FTP, FTPS, and SFTP servers is the priority, especially when editing, previews, media playback, or server-to-server transfers matter. Choose another FTP client if you need wider platform coverage or a broader integration network.
