Freshpaint Event Tracker collects behavioral events from websites and applications, then routes governed data to analytics, marketing, advertising, and data platforms. It is aimed at healthcare organizations such as hospitals, health plans, urgent care providers, dental organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and virtual-care businesses. The product supports web, iOS, Android, and API collection, with automatic tracking through Autotrack alongside client-side and server-side precision tracking APIs.

Its strongest distinction is the range of ways teams can define and manage events. Hybrid automatic and code-based tracking accommodates different implementation needs, while Time Machine supports retroactive event definition. No-code event management can reduce the need for custom implementation, and cross-domain tracking extends event visibility across related web properties. Event-level destination controls add a governance layer, while integrations include ActiveCampaign, Amazon Redshift, AppLovin, Basis, Braze, CallRail, Clockwise, Customer.io, Databricks, Epic MyChart, and Experity. Google Tag Manager reuse is also supported.

Freshpaint uses contact-sales pricing across four tiers. Compliance includes core tracking and integrations, HIPAA-compliant ads and analytics, 150,000 monthly tracked users, and 2 projects. Enterprise adds additional channels and integrations, deeper support, and 10 projects. Enterprise Plus adds advanced multi-channel campaigns, DSPs and Floodlight, enhanced controls, and 25 projects. Elite is designed for large-scale implementations with custom engineering, maximum flexibility, and 100 projects. Teams prioritizing compliance-oriented tracking and destination governance should consider it; organizations seeking a self-serve free plan or transparent monetary pricing should look elsewhere.

Freshpaint Event Tracker pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Combines automatic, code-based, server-side, and no-code tracking
    • Supports web, iOS, Android, API, and cross-domain event collection
    • Controls destinations at the event level for governed data routing
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing is sales-led rather than published as monetary tiers
    • There is no free plan for evaluating the product independently
    • Advanced multi-channel campaigns require the Enterprise Plus tier
