Our verdict on FraudLabs Pro
FraudLabs Pro is a payment fraud detection service for ecommerce merchants and online businesses. It evaluates transactions in real time, assigns fraud scores, and supports approve, review, or reject decisions. The service combines IP, proxy, address, email, payment, blacklist, velocity, device, and machine-learning validations. Web, iOS, Android, and REST API access give small teams several ways to review transactions and connect screening to their operations.
Its freemium structure makes it approachable for smaller merchants. The free Micro plan includes 500 queries per month, five validation rules, 50 custom blacklists, Standard Support, Fraud Score, and Android and iOS apps. Mini raises the allowance to 1,500 queries per month and adds Priority Support and Advanced Blacklist Validation. Higher plans increase monthly query allowances, validation rules, grouping rules, custom blacklists, sub accounts, and support capabilities. Medium adds a Payment API, Large adds Advanced Anomaly Detection, and Enterprise adds Malware Exploit validation. A 14-day free trial is also listed.
Platform fit is a practical strength. Merchants can use ecommerce modules for OpenCart, Shopify, WooCommerce, WHMCS, Magento, PrestaShop, BigCommerce, and other platforms, or connect through the REST API. Fraud notifications and transaction reports support ongoing review, while configurable rules let teams set approve, review, or reject actions.
