Frame Performance Analyzer review
A free Windows analyzer for comparing NVIDIA captures with detailed telemetry and exports.

Frame Performance Analyzer is a free, open-source Windows desktop application for examining recorded gaming-performance captures. It is aimed at solo users and small teams that already have NVIDIA FrameView detailed or summary CSV files, or NVIDIA App performance-overlay logs, and want to compare runs rather than create new workloads. The application runs locally as a self-contained Windows build or through the Microsoft Store, with a searchable local Benchmark Library for organizing benchmark metadata.
Its analysis tools focus on detail and side-by-side interpretation. Interactive FPS, frame-time and telemetry charts provide a visual view of each capture, while Base-versus-Comparison analysis reports KPI deltas. Multi comparison supports two to eight benchmark runs, and per-frame timeline inspection uses adaptive visual decimation to keep long captures readable. Raw or Precision filtering can exclude loading and transition regions, helping separate gameplay measurements from those intervals. Results can be exported as PNG reports or portable CSV and JSON analyzed-data files, and those formats can also be imported.
The narrow focus is also the main boundary. Frame Performance Analyzer does not generate benchmark workloads, automate runs, provide in-game benchmarking, perform GPU benchmarks, or run standardized 3D tests. Its documented input support centers on NVIDIA FrameView and NVIDIA App logs, so users working with other capture formats may need a different tool. Support is provided through documentation, and the desktop deployment is Windows-only. Choose it when you need a local, free analyzer for comparing recorded NVIDIA runs; choose an alternative when workload creation, automated capture, broader platform coverage, or benchmark suites are required.
