FoxyProxy review
Open-source proxy controls for switching, routing URLs and managing configured connections.

FoxyProxy combines free, open-source proxy-management tools with a separately sold proxy and VPN service. Its browser extensions are available for Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and the product also lists Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android support. It is aimed at people who already have proxy connections to configure and want browser-based control over which connections handle their traffic. It manages proxy settings; the free tools are not themselves a proxy network.
The main strength is the range of controls around configured proxies. Users can switch configurations from the browser extension, route URLs with wildcard or regular-expression patterns, and set up a manual proxy server or a PAC file. Proxy configurations can also be imported or exported, cycled through, and added, updated or deleted using proxy: URI commands. Selenium is listed as an integration. This makes FoxyProxy more relevant to users who need rules and repeatable configuration than to someone looking for a single basic proxy toggle.
The paid service is priced separately from the management tools. The 1 Month plan costs $9.99 per month with monthly billing; 6 Months is $8.33 per month with annual billing; and 12 Months is $7.49 per month with annual billing. Each plan lists proxy and VPN service, unlimited bandwidth and one unique IP per purchase. The company says that paid accounts receive a data-center IP in a chosen country, and changing an account's IP requires contacting support. Choose FoxyProxy if browser-side configuration, URL rules and proxy cycling are the priority, or if its separate paid service's one-IP model fits. Look elsewhere if you need the management tools themselves to provide proxy access or need account IP changes without support involvement.

- Changing a paid account's IP requires contacting support.
