ForumFrame is a hosted forum platform for niche-community founders and small community operators. It is designed for communities that want a dedicated discussion space rather than a feed-oriented social platform. The product combines customizable layouts and themes with roles, permissions, moderation workflows, analytics, custom domains, and community content export. Its strongest fit is a focused community that cares about visual presentation and wants operational visibility into participation and moderation.

The freemium structure gives smaller communities a low-commitment starting point. Hobby is free forever and includes a ForumFrame subdomain plus customizable layouts and themes. Maker costs €18 per month when billed monthly and adds unlimited members, a custom domain, and custom CSS. House costs €64 per month when billed monthly and adds multi-forum capability and priority support. The tier progression is clear: Hobby supports a branded-on-ForumFrame launch, Maker adds ownership and greater customization, and House is aimed at operators managing multiple forums.

ForumFrame’s standout area is the combination of design control and community oversight. Operators can work with color tokens, typography, themes, roles, permissions, a moderation queue, recent moderation actions, and analytics covering members, posts, reactions, contributors, and moderation. CSV and JSON analytics exports, along with community content export and deletion, support portability and ongoing administration. The tradeoff is a web-only scope and a focused forum model rather than a broader platform ecosystem. Choose ForumFrame for a visually intentional community with built-in governance and analytics; choose another option if mobile access or a wider platform footprint is central to the project.
