FortiSASE brings secure internet, corporate, and SaaS access together with ZTNA, CASB, and firewall-as-a-service capabilities. It is aimed at mid-market and enterprise organizations securing hybrid and remote users, branch locations, and application access. The secure web gateway is one component of that wider service, making it a closer fit for teams adopting Fortinet SASE and ZTNA than for buyers seeking a standalone SWG product.
Connectivity can use the FortiClient unified agent for SASE traffic redirection, ZTNA, and endpoint protection, or agentless methods using PAC files or reverse proxy.
