Forma3D is a native mesh-editing and 3D-print preparation app for iPhone and iPad, with platform support across iOS and macOS. It is aimed at makers, hobbyists, 3D-printing enthusiasts, students, engineers, designers, and anyone who wants to prepare models without relying on a desktop computer. The app supports STL, 3MF, and USDZ import and export, vertex, edge, and face editing, Boolean union, subtract, and intersect operations, plus 3D text, primitives, gears, bolts, and nuts. LiDAR and Apple Object Capture scanning add a way to create capture-based starting points on compatible Apple devices.
Pricing is straightforward but entirely paid. The Monthly plan costs $6.99 per month and includes full access to all features, with cancellation anytime. The Annual plan costs $49.99 per year, includes full access to all features, and saves 40%.
