Forma3D is a native mesh-editing and 3D-print preparation app for iPhone and iPad, with platform support across iOS and macOS. It is aimed at makers, hobbyists, 3D-printing enthusiasts, students, engineers, designers, and anyone who wants to prepare models without relying on a desktop computer. The app supports STL, 3MF, and USDZ import and export, vertex, edge, and face editing, Boolean union, subtract, and intersect operations, plus 3D text, primitives, gears, bolts, and nuts. LiDAR and Apple Object Capture scanning add a way to create capture-based starting points on compatible Apple devices.

On-device processing and offline core modeling suit users who prefer local work. Forma3D is less suitable for animation or presentation-focused 3D work because it has no animation tools or render engine, and its Apple-only availability excludes users on other platforms.
