Our verdict on FORM
FORM is an iPhone-first fitness app for people who want structured training with camera-based exercise feedback, AI coaching, and meal scanning. Its on-device pose analysis scores movement during recorded sets, while FIA provides coaching based on training data. Adaptive weekly plans account for goals, equipment, recovery, and completed sessions. Progress tracking covers strength, volume, streaks, and personal records, with a training log, home-screen widgets, and Apple Watch complications supporting regular use.
The standout feature is the combination of form scoring and adaptive planning. Users can record exercise sets for camera-based feedback, then follow a weekly plan that responds to completed sessions and recovery considerations. FIA adds AI coaching, while meal scanning estimates calories and macros. The product stays focused on the iPhone experience rather than presenting a broad platform ecosystem: iOS is the current supported platform, and Android is on the roadmap. That makes FORM a natural fit for iPhone users who value movement feedback and integrated tracking across the phone and Apple Watch.
FORM uses a freemium model with a free plan and a seven-day free trial. The Founding plan includes unlimited form checks, five meal scans a week, the adaptive plan, the full workout library, training logs, leaderboards, and challenges. FORM Pro adds unlimited meal scans, unlimited FIA voice coaching, FORM Recovery, premium themes and card finishes, and branding-free video exports up to 4K. The app is in early access, so buyers seeking a currently multi-platform fitness service should look elsewhere. FORM is better suited to iPhone users who specifically want camera-based form scoring, meal scanning, and adaptive training in one app.
