Our verdict on FocusForce+
FocusForce+ combines multi-step routines, to-do planning, reminders, app blocking, focus sessions, and sleep mode in an offline Android app. It is aimed at people who want stronger structure around habits, attention, and phone use, including users with ADHD-related needs. The app runs without an account, cloud service, advertising, tracking, or internet permission, and its open-source GPLv3 license gives technically minded users more control over the software.
Its standout area is the depth of its behavior controls. Routines can include alarms and individual countdown timers, while to-dos support priorities, recurring items, and reminders. App blocking can follow daily limits, time windows, routines, or focus sessions. Focus mode adds Do Not Disturb and notification silencing, and sleep mode combines bedtime, wake-up, and wind-down reminders with blocking. Invincible Mode and Tamper Protection are particularly relevant for people who want the rules to be harder to bypass, while the configurable daily settings-change window adds a further control layer.
FocusForce+ is a strong fit for Android users who prefer local operation and configurable controls over a broader connected ecosystem. JSON export and import support local backups, and the dashboard provides weekly statistics for reviewing activity. The trade-off is a narrower platform and integration profile: calendar synchronization is not included, and the app is distributed as a directly installed APK rather than through Google Play. It remains in public beta, so users seeking a mature, cross-platform planner or calendar-centered workflow should choose an alternative. Pick FocusForce+ for free, open-source routine and phone-use controls; skip it if platform breadth or calendar integration matters most.
