Fleetio is a paid, cloud-based fleet management platform for organizations operating vehicles and equipment. It brings together vehicle and asset records, preventive maintenance schedules, service reminders, work orders, inspections, DVIR workflows, fuel transactions, parts inventory, reporting and dashboards. Fleetio Go provides mobile access, while GPS and telematics integrations can supply vehicle location data and support driver behavior analysis. The platform is suited to transportation, construction, service providers and government organizations managing growing fleets.
Fleetio offers a 14-day free trial and three paid plans. Essential includes vehicle inventory management, inspections, limited maintenance management, fuel entries and support for up to 100 vehicles. Professional adds service tracking, reporting, maintenance management, inspections and API access. Premium adds advanced integrations, custom workflows, advanced analytics, warranty management and enhanced work orders. Integrations include Geotab, Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Ford Pro, WEX, FLEETCOR/Fuelman, Comdata, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Xero, NetSuite and SAP. Plans support access through web, iOS, Android and API channels.
Fleetio may be more than smaller operators need if they only require basic vehicle records or simple maintenance reminders. Essential also has limited maintenance functionality, while API access is not included until Professional and advanced workflows, analytics and integrations are reserved for Premium. The platform may be a weaker fit for teams seeking a free product or a narrowly focused tracking tool. Consider an alternative if your priority is a simpler setup, lower plan complexity or functionality that does not depend on moving to a higher tier.
