Our verdict on FlashPrep
FlashPrep is a study timer and tracking application for students preparing for exams, revision, homework, competitive tests, or self-study. Its subject-first approach lets users start focused sessions, assign them to subjects, set daily goals, review daily and weekly progress, and keep notes and study todos alongside their study data. The product is available on web and Android, making it a fit for students who want one place to track study consistency across those platforms.
The free plan covers the main study workflow: a smart study timer, Study Momentum scoring, daily goals, subject-wise focus tracking, notes and basic to-dos, and offline-first local data. FlashPrep+ costs INR 499 per year and adds full calendar insights, daily breakdown history, unlimited subjects, manual session logging, and smart timer monitoring notifications. That structure makes the product approachable for students who mainly need focused sessions and basic progress tracking, while the paid tier is aimed at users who want deeper history and more flexible records.
FlashPrep also supports optional Google sign-in backup and restore, with Google Sign-In and Firebase listed among its integrations. Its strongest focus is subject tracking and consistency rather than broad productivity or calendar integration. Students who want goals, momentum scoring, notes, and study history at a low cost should find the feature mix well aligned with exam preparation and self-study. Those who prioritize extensive integrations or highly customizable timer behavior should consider a tool with a broader configuration and ecosystem focus.
