Firepipe adds managed SFTP access to existing Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, and S3-compatible buckets. Teams can connect using standard SFTP clients and avoid operating an SFTP server. It is aimed at small and mid-market teams that need to give people controlled access to files already held in cloud object storage, rather than move those files into a separate Firepipe storage system.

Access controls and file handling are central to the product. Users can authenticate with passwords or SSH public keys, and administrators can restrict users to specific paths, set per-user read-only access, and apply quotas. Transfers and workspace activity are recorded in audit logs with CSV export. File events can trigger signed webhooks, email notifications, or file moves and copies. The integrations are focused on the listed storage backends; teams seeking a broader platform or integrations beyond those buckets may find Firepipe too narrow.

The Free plan costs $0 per month and includes 5 GB/month of transfer plus a full audit trail with CSV export. Starter costs $19 per month, includes 25 GB/month, unlimited SFTP users, and 30-day audit history; additional transfer is $0.50/GB. Growth is $79 per month, includes 250 GB/month, and charges $0.40/GB beyond that allowance. It includes everything in Starter. Cloud provider storage and other usage charges are billed separately, and the vendor identifies pricing as early-access and subject to change. Choose Firepipe for managed access to existing buckets with controls and file-event actions; look elsewhere if you need standalone SFTP hosting or broader platform scope.
