Fire Payments API is designed for businesses, fintechs and corporate clients integrating payment services into applications and back-office systems. Its scope extends beyond payment initiation: teams can work with accounts, transactions, payees, users and balances, while also managing payouts, direct debits, mandates, subaccounts and debit cards through APIs. The product is a fit for organizations that need payment and account infrastructure in one integration, rather than a narrowly focused payment-request tool.

The published plan is Fire Business Account, priced at €10 per month with monthly billing. It includes euro and sterling accounts, open banking payment acceptance and API access for integrated payment services. The API is available to Fire customers, and access requires a Fire Business Account plus an API application. Onboarding is handled through Fire’s sales team, so teams should account for a sales-led entry process rather than an entirely self-serve setup. There is no free plan listed.

Its strongest advantage is breadth within a single payments and accounts workflow. Businesses can initiate internal, local and cross-border payouts, create open banking payment requests, transfer funds between accounts and automate cash-flow workflows. REST APIs and real-time webhooks cover payment and account events, while direct-debit management, reconciliation support and card controls extend the platform into operational finance use cases. Fire is available across web, iOS, Android and API environments, but its stated onboarding markets are the UK and Ireland. Choose it when those markets fit and you need multiple account and payment capabilities together; choose an alternative when wider country coverage or self-serve onboarding is more important.
