FigJam is Figma’s collaborative online whiteboard for product teams, researchers, facilitators, and workshop participants. Its infinite canvas supports brainstorming, meetings, planning, research, diagramming, and workshops with sticky notes, drawings, images, widgets, templates, timers, audio conversations, comments, and voting sessions. Temporary open sessions let teams invite external guests, while Spotlight mode helps guide participants through a board. FigJam is available in a browser and through the FigJam iPad app.

Pricing gives teams a low-cost entry point. The Starter plan includes unlimited drafts, up to 3 editable shared files, and unlimited collaborators. The Professional Collab seat costs $3 per user per month when billed monthly and adds full access to FigJam, unlimited files and projects for a single team, voting, and diagramming tools. Organization and Enterprise Collab seats are each listed at $5 per user per month with annual billing. Organization adds centralized administration and custom templates; Enterprise adds enterprise-level security and custom team workspaces. FigJam is included with Figma seats rather than sold as a separate standalone product.

The main strength is breadth within collaborative whiteboarding: teams can combine canvas work, diagramming, workshops, guest participation, presentations through Spotlight mode, and voting in one workspace. Integrations with Figma, Asana, Jira, and GitHub support common product and development workflows. The tradeoff is a narrower platform footprint and fewer listed integrations than teams may want from a broader ecosystem. Product teams that value affordable collaboration and workshop depth should choose FigJam; organizations needing wider platform coverage or a larger integration set should consider another tool.
