Our verdict on Feedler
Feedler is an RSS reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac, aimed at readers who want more control over how subscribed articles are collected and read. It can extract full articles from many sites, group coverage of the same story into Trending Stories, and support typography and theme customization. On-device summaries, text-to-speech and offline caching add ways to process and read articles. Its scope is RSS rather than personalized news feeds, so it suits people who curate sources and want a more capable reader across Apple devices.
The standout is its range of reading and feed-handling tools. Readers can customize article extraction and parsers per feed, discover RSS feeds, and browse curated topic packs. Trending Stories groups related coverage from subscribed feeds, while summaries run on-device. Text-to-speech and caching of articles and images support listening and offline reading.
