FaxZero review
A practical choice for occasional outbound faxing without a monthly plan.

FaxZero is a web-based fax-sending service for individuals and businesses that need to send documents without a recurring subscription. Its Free Fax option covers recipients in the United States and Canada, with a limit of 3 pages plus a cover and up to 5 free faxes per day. Users can type cover-page text or attach files in formats including PDF, Word, images, spreadsheets, text, HTML, TIFF, GIF, and PowerPoint.
Pricing is transaction-based rather than monthly. The Free Fax plan adds FaxZero branding to the cover page. Almost Free Fax costs $3.29 per fax and allows up to 25 pages plus an optional cover, priority delivery, no branding, and no account requirement. International Fax starts at $2.09 per fax, supports up to 15 pages, removes FaxZero branding, and provides priority delivery; pricing depends on the destination. Paid faxes can also omit the generated cover page.
For delivery visibility, FaxZero provides email confirmation and delivery notifications, along with a private fax status page for tracking. Multi-file attachments support document-heavy submissions, while the vendor also offers an API through its sister service for sending faxes. The product is focused on outbound sending through the web, so it suits occasional users who need a few domestic faxes or occasional international transmissions. Organizations needing inbound faxing, virtual numbers, mobile apps, or recurring service features should choose a different type of fax service.
