FaxSalad review
A straightforward online fax service with international coverage and limited ecosystem depth.

FaxSalad is an online fax service for individuals and businesses that need to send and receive documents without a traditional fax machine. It supports browser-based sending, email-to-fax, inbound delivery by email, virtual fax numbers, number porting, international faxing in over 40 countries, tracking, delivery notifications, and encrypted cloud storage. It is aimed at small businesses that want straightforward fax workflows through a web portal and email rather than a traditional fax machine.
Pricing is organized around two monthly plans. Standard costs $10 per month and includes a global fax number, 150 send pages, and 150 receive pages each month. Pro costs $20 per month and raises both send and receive allowances to 450 pages, while retaining the global fax number. The published description also references pay-as-you-go billing, and the homepage offers 10 free pages as introductory account credit. Businesses should compare the monthly page allowances with their expected volume, especially when lower-cost entry points are a priority.
FaxSalad’s fit is strongest for organizations that value inbound email delivery, virtual numbers, international reach, and a focused set of fax controls. Documents can be stored in encrypted cloud storage, with optional automatic deletion, and the service states that inbound and outbound documents can be stored for up to three months. The published compliance level is HIPAA. Its narrower platform footprint matters, however: web is the listed platform and Email is the listed integration. Small businesses seeking simple international faxing should find the feature set aligned with that need, while teams requiring a broader integration ecosystem or a lower-cost starting point should consider alternatives.
