Our verdict on FamiKit
FamiKit is a parental-control app for families managing children's device use across web, Windows, iOS, and Android. Its controls cover screen-time limits, recurring downtime schedules, app usage reports, app blocking, website filtering, browsing-history monitoring, location tracking, geofencing, YouTube activity, and alerts for potentially inappropriate content. It also includes AI features and supports cloud and mobile deployment.
Pricing is organized into three paid plans, with all features included in each. The Monthly plan costs $29.95 per month, while the Annual plan costs $79.90 per year. The Lifetime plan costs $259.90 as a one-time payment. Each plan includes a money-back guarantee, free 24/7 support, and free updates. A 3-day free trial is available, and the refund period is five days. The published category details specify support for up to 3 devices, so households managing more devices should assess whether that limit fits their needs.
FamiKit suits families that want monitoring and management in one product rather than a narrow screen-time tool. Location history, real-time location, geofences, YouTube watch-history monitoring, video or channel blocking, and social-content alerts extend its coverage beyond basic app limits. Support is available through email and documentation, with 24/7 support included in the plans. Families seeking lifetime ownership may prefer the one-time plan, while those wanting a lower monthly commitment or broader device capacity should consider an alternative. Android and iOS capabilities are not identical because of platform restrictions.
