Automates recurring billing and dunning, with usage charges entered through its API.

Fakturia handles subscription and recurring contract billing for businesses that need invoice automation, payment reminders, and customer self-service. Its functions cover upgrades and downgrades, recurring invoice creation and email delivery, flat-fee and volume pricing, and prorated billing when a plan changes mid-cycle. It also supports multiple currencies and provides a portal where customers can manage contracts, details, invoices, and cancellations. SaaS companies, startups, scale-ups, and established businesses are among the audiences described by the vendor; its German accounting and invoice-format features make it particularly relevant to European operations.
Pricing has two different models at the entry level. FLEX one has no fixed monthly base fee and charges 1.9% of monthly net revenue; it includes 7,500 API calls per month, three users, and standard support. FLEX two also has no fixed base fee, charges 2.4% of monthly net revenue, and adds VAT ID validation and the DATEV interface. Professional costs €139 per month, with no net-revenue fee, premium support, and multi-currency billing. Enterprise lists Private Cloud hosting, unlimited users, and premium support. Prices are net of VAT. Businesses should compare the revenue-based FLEX fees with Professional’s fixed monthly price against their own billing volume.
Fakturia connects with Stripe, Adyen, Unzer, PayPal, finAPI, DATEV, and Zapier, and offers a REST API and webhooks. Its accounting exports and support for ZUGFeRD and XRechnung suit businesses working with German and European invoicing requirements. A key boundary is usage billing: usage must be calculated in the customer’s own system and sent through the API, rather than tracked natively in real time. Choose Fakturia for recurring contracts, proration, dunning, and regional invoice workflows; businesses seeking real-time usage metering or a broader integration ecosystem should compare alternatives.
