Factu.me is a cloud invoicing and business-management service for freelancers, sole traders and small businesses. It combines invoice and quote creation with customer management, payment collection, expense scanning and accounting exports. Its voice-AI and WhatsApp workflows make it especially relevant to French freelancers who want to create or send documents from those channels, rather than rely only on a conventional web form.

The free Starter plan is free for life and includes voice-AI invoicing, WhatsApp invoices and quotes, and email support; it is limited to three invoices and quotes per month. Pro costs €19.99 per month and adds unlimited invoices and quotes, electronic invoicing, expense notes with simple scanning, electronic signature, and FEC/CSV export. Business costs €49.99 per month and includes Pro, plus employment contracts, multi-invoice OCR, accountant connection, intelligent bank reconciliation and an advanced AI Copilot. A 7-day trial of paid plans requires a card. These tiers give solo operators a way to start free, while regular invoicing or broader accounting workflows call for a paid plan.

Factu.me’s focus extends beyond document creation: it supports card payments through Stripe and SumUp, automated customer reminders, receipt and supplier-invoice OCR, and electronic invoices using Factur-X / EN 16931 standards. WhatsApp, Stripe, SumUp and B2Brouter are listed integrations, and accounting exports are available in FEC and CSV formats. The service is web-only, so it is a less suitable choice for businesses seeking a dedicated mobile app. Freelancers who value voice or WhatsApp invoicing and French electronic-invoicing workflows should consider it; teams needing mobile platform coverage should look elsewhere.

  • Where it doesn't

    • Available on web only
    • A card is required to start the 7-day paid-plan trial
