Event Floor Planner is a browser-based tool for creating event floor plans and seating charts. It is designed for weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, parties, and other gatherings where organizers need to arrange tables, chairs, and other event elements. The free service does not require account creation to begin designing, while an email address is requested for cloud-saved layouts. Its focus is practical planning rather than a broad event-management workflow.
The core planning experience centers on drag-and-drop layout design, guest list management, and table assignments. Event templates can provide a starting point, while layout auto-save helps preserve changes during planning. Cloud saving keeps layouts available, and unique links allow them to be shared. PDF export adds a useful handoff format for distributing or printing a completed floor plan. For users who need a simple seating and layout planner without a paid tier, the published Free plan covers the main workflow.
The main trade-off is scope. Event Floor Planner supports shared layouts, but its collaboration depth is limited, and the available feature set does not extend to deeper import or 3D planning capabilities. That makes it a better fit for straightforward browser-based diagrams than for teams needing advanced visualization, extensive collaboration, or a more connected event-design process. Choose it when free seating plans, cloud saving, sharing, and PDF output are the priority; consider an alternative when import tools, 3D design, or richer collaboration are central requirements.
