Ericom Secure Web Gateway protects internet and email access through web traffic inspection, URL filtering, antivirus, SSL inspection, and remote browser isolation. It is aimed at small and midsize organizations as well as enterprise deployments, with a particularly clear fit for teams that want to isolate risky browsing and limit sensitive-data leakage. The product is delivered through Ericom’s cloud security platform, so its listed deployment model is cloud rather than a choice among deployment types.

Its standout approach is to render risky sites in isolated cloud containers, keeping active web code away from endpoints. Read-only isolation for phishing links is intended to prevent credential theft. The gateway also applies policy-based SSL inspection, scans web content and downloads for antivirus threats, and supports URL filtering for acceptable-use policies. Content Disarm and Reconstruction sanitizes downloads and attachments, while DLP scans traffic for sensitive-data leakage.
