Our verdict on EQ Zera

EQ Zera is a free Windows desktop companion for EverQuest Legends that reads the game's plain-text log. It is aimed at players who want more than live damage and healing measurements, combining combat meters with quest tracking, loot history, crafting views, alerts, and character tools. The application does not inject into the game, read memory, modify game files, automate play, or require an account. Its broader utility makes it a fit for players who want combat information alongside everyday progression tools.

Combat coverage includes per-fight and per-zone damage and healing meters, floating always-on-top damage, healing, and farm overlays, and fight history with hit, miss, resist, attack, and spell details. Players can also use buff, debuff, charm-break, raid-target, and custom log-line alerts. The published feature set extends beyond combat through quest checklist progress, quest-item pop-ups, zone loot, upgrade finding, farming guidance, crafting views, item wish lists, and alerts.
