Employee Onboarding 365 is a SharePoint and Microsoft 365-based application for HR teams and organizations managing employee journeys from preboarding through offboarding. It combines customized onboarding workflows with document sharing, e-signatures, task assignment, employee self-service, training resources, notifications and progress monitoring. Its feature set suits teams that want onboarding activities, employee information and related documents organized within the Microsoft ecosystem.

The Standard plan costs $0 USD per month when billed annually and includes free updates via the Microsoft Store, Office 365 integration, a SharePoint app, an onboarding module with a template and standard notifications. The plan has a 10-user limit. Plus adds theme customization, digital joining forms, an employee record repository, HR tasks and checklists, company policy documents and a document repository. Premium adds a Microsoft Teams app, employee self-service portal, onboarding dashboards, Outlook calendar integration, role-based checklists, task tracking, status updates and reminders. Enterprise extends the set with organization analytics, automatic Office 365 user creation, Teams and Office 365 Groups enrollment, pre-onboarding, Adobe Sign or DocuSign integration, API connectivity and Power BI connection.

Microsoft 365 is the product’s central ecosystem fit. Integrations include SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agent, Microsoft Forms, Office 365 Groups, Adobe Sign, DocuSign and Microsoft Entra ID. Data is retained in the customer’s Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment, while web and API access support different operating models. Choose Employee Onboarding 365 if your organization already works in Microsoft services and wants a free starting point with a path to deeper automation, reporting and self-service. Organizations seeking a platform independent of Microsoft 365 should consider alternatives with a broader ecosystem focus.
