EmeraldHost Enshrouded Server review
A practical choice for Enshrouded groups that want detailed manual backup control.

EmeraldHost Enshrouded Server provides prepaid hosting for Enshrouded players and small groups. Management is handled through a web interface, with configurable player slots and storage, SFTP access, existing-world uploads, server passwords, user groups, and permission controls. The service is hosted in Germany, with Cologne listed as the Enshrouded server location. It suits groups that want control over server files, settings, access, and backups without managing the underlying hosting environment.
Pricing starts at €6 per month according to the published product pricing. The checkout is configurable rather than presented as a fixed plan table, so the selected server setup is part of the purchase flow. The service is paid-only, with no free plan. Beyond the starting price, the main value comes from configuration flexibility: settings can be changed through the dashboard and JSON files, while SFTP supports direct file access and existing world uploads. Automatic server updates and file validation reduce routine maintenance, and DDoS protection is included.
Backup control is the clearest reason to choose EmeraldHost. Users can create, download, lock, restore, and delete backups manually, giving administrators direct control over retention and recovery actions. Automatic backups are available through a support request, while scheduled automatic backups are still in development. That makes the service a better fit for owners who are comfortable managing backup operations themselves than for groups seeking a fully automated backup workflow. Choose EmeraldHost for manual administration, world migration, permissions, and configurable Enshrouded hosting; consider an alternative if automatic backups are essential from the start.
