Its emphasis on subledger accounting, configurable charts of accounts, multi-currency handling and invoice purchase checks makes it a fit for teams whose factoring workflows depend on accounting controls and reverse factoring. Providers seeking a system with a broad set of core factoring operations should compare its scope with alternatives before choosing it.

Accounting and control functions are a central part of ef3’s proposition. Item-level audit trails record lifecycle history, while risk monitoring uses reports, dialogues and event actions. Recurring processes and batch processing can be automated; bulk data import and accounting data export support data movement around those workflows. Invoice purchase checks and payment processing are also included. The product supports collections tracking and invoice funding, and it can be extended with separately available features.
