EditCap is a cloud-based captioning and subtitle editor for short-form creators, video editors, agencies, and media teams. It transcribes speech, including Indian and South Asian languages, then adds synchronized captions to vertical videos for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok. Automatic punctuation, word timestamps, animated templates, and karaoke-style highlighting support both quick captioning and more expressive edits. Its mix of a free option and paid monthly plans suits solo creators and small teams, while the Studio tier also targets higher-volume work.
The plans scale by transcription time and export options. Free Tier includes 4 minutes of monthly transcription, 1080p export, and a 2-minute maximum video length. The one-time ₹19 Trial Pack provides 10 minutes, 1080p, all 30+ templates, and no watermark. Starter costs ₹290 per month for 1 hour of transcription and 1080p Full HD exports. At ₹499 per month, Pro Creator raises that to 3 hours and adds 4K 60FPS export and SRT files.
