easyCMS is a hosted digital signage content-management platform for businesses, schools, restaurants, retailers, offices, and signage resellers. Its browser-based CMS supports multi-zone layouts, media uploads, playlists, scheduling, dayparting, remote display management, and content caching for offline playback. Content types include images, video, audio, text, web pages, widgets, PDFs, RSS, weather, calendars, and datasets. Management is handled from a browser, including on a phone or tablet, while displays can run on supported player platforms.
Pricing is centered on one-time licensing for standard use. The €49 easyCMS Account includes the first display licence, management for up to five displays, 1GB of cloud storage, core features and widgets, and free updates, guides, and assistant support. The €299 easyCMS PRO Account raises the limit to 25 displays, provides 5GB of storage, and adds proof-of-play reporting. Each additional Display Licence costs €99 one time, adds one display, carries a lifetime licence, and supports Windows, Android, LG webOS, and Samsung Tizen. Enterprise costs €1290 per year and adds white-labeling, an own domain, user roles and permissions, 20GB of storage, proof-of-play reporting, and priority support.
For content and platform fit, easyCMS connects with iCal calendars, RSS, Mastodon, Power BI, Google traffic maps, and HLS streaming. DataSets and widgets support live information, while interactive and touch content extend it beyond basic playlist playback. Remote monitoring and screenshots help teams oversee displays, but the product remains cloud-hosted and does not offer a self-hosted edition. Standard and PRO accounts do not provide per-user roles; custom permissions are an Enterprise feature. easyCMS suits teams that value one-time licensing and offline playback, but organizations requiring self-hosting or more granular permissions at lower tiers should consider another platform.
