Our verdict on Easy Voice Recorder
Easy Voice Recorder is a mobile app for capturing meetings, personal notes, classes, interviews, songs and other sounds. Available on iOS and Android, it covers the essentials for people who want a straightforward recorder across mobile platforms. Recording supports PCM, AAC, MP4 and AMR formats, while background capture, home-screen widgets and shortcuts make it suitable for quick notes or longer sessions. Free access includes audio recording, background recording, widgets and shortcuts, and sharing recordings.
The paid tier adds the organization and transfer features that matter once recordings accumulate. Pro includes folders, trimming, additional recording formats, Bluetooth microphone support, and automatic uploads to Google Drive or Dropbox. The app also lists iCloud Drive storage on iOS, alongside sharing for recordings and transcriptions. Its freemium structure makes the basic recording workflow accessible, while the paid feature set is aimed at users who need editing, categorization, external microphones or cloud handling. The Google Play Pro offering is a one-time purchase, while App Store pricing uses region-dependent in-app purchases.
Transcription is the main platform divide: the iOS version can transcribe recordings to text and share those transcriptions, while the product does not present a broader AI feature set. That keeps Easy Voice Recorder focused on dependable capture rather than automated summaries or advanced audio intelligence. Choose it for established basic recording, flexible audio formats and practical mobile utilities on either iOS or Android. Consider an alternative if cross-platform transcription, AI-assisted notes or deeper collaboration features are central to your workflow.
