Easy Indian Typing is a free phonetic transliteration tool for people who want to write in Hindi and other Indian scripts without learning a keyboard layout. Enter words using ordinary English letters, then press the space bar to convert them into the selected language’s script. It is available through desktop and mobile browsers, with Android and iOS access also listed. The focus is straightforward: turn familiar Latin-letter input into script text rather than teach typing or provide conventional keyboard layouts.
Language-specific editors support 12 Indian languages, and users can choose among alternative spellings while typing. That can help when a phonetic spelling maps to more than one written form. The output uses standard Unicode, so it can be copied to the clipboard or downloaded as a text file.
