DUDE (DUplicates DEtector) is a free, open-source utility for finding and processing duplicate files on Windows and Linux. It suits users who want local scanning with direct control over review and cleanup, especially those comparing images as well as exact duplicates. The application groups files by SHA1 hashes of complete contents, while its image-similarity detection adds caching, sensitivity settings, and rotated-image detection.
