It centralizes policies, risks, ownership, evidence, controls, audit workflows, and trust-center functions while supporting frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Its web, API, and Chrome extension access suit organizations that want compliance work connected to their existing business, development, identity, and infrastructure tools.
The platform’s main strength is breadth paired with automation. Drata collects evidence, monitors and tests controls continuously, maps shared controls across frameworks, and supports risk registers, treatment workflows, vendor assessments, and recurring reviews. Audit Hub brings auditor collaboration and evidence requests into the same environment, while compliance as code supports infrastructure scanning. Integrations include AWS, 1Password, Webflow, Google Workspace, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Slack, BambooHR, and Okta, with more than 300 tools supported overall. AI questionnaire assistance can also help with customer and security-review responses.
Drata’s plans separate core compliance automation from assurance capabilities.
