Our verdict on DPLAI DemandPlanner
DPLAI DemandPlanner is a web-based demand forecasting and supply-planning platform for SME distributors and pharma businesses. It works at SKU level, analyzing sales history to select forecasting algorithms and produce rolling demand forecasts and buying plans. Alongside forecasting, it covers inventory calculations, stockout and overstock alerts, expiry tracking, purchasing cash-flow projections, and forecast-accuracy reporting. It is aimed at planners who need more structure than spreadsheets without adopting a broader enterprise suite.
Pricing is tiered by SKU capacity. Starter costs €99 per month for up to 100 SKUs, Growth costs €249 per month for up to 500, Professional costs €499 per month for up to 2,000, and Enterprise costs €999 per month for up to 5,000. All four plans include unlimited locations, forecasting algorithms, AI demand and supply planning, stockout and overstock alerts, and S&OP scenario planning. The main paid-tier distinction is therefore capacity rather than a different published feature set, making the entry plan relevant for smaller catalogs and the higher tiers suitable for larger assortments.
Its strongest scope is the connection between forecasts and operational decisions: users can calculate safety stock, reorder points, and order quantities, then apply promotion, price-change, and new-product adjustments before locking a consensus plan. Lot-level expiry and minimum-remaining-shelf-life tracking add relevance for products with shelf-life constraints. CSV import and export keep the platform accessible, but the integration model is narrow and the product is web-only.
