Domain Technologie Control (DTC) is a web-based, self-hosted control panel for providers administering shared, VPS and dedicated hosting services. It combines hosting-plan and customer-account management with tools for administering hosting services and accounting. Customers can manage selected services, including subdomains, email, SSH, databases, mailing lists and FTP accounts. Its open-source model makes it a candidate for small hosts that want account administration in a panel they operate themselves.

Service delegation is the clearest functional strength. Administrators can give customers responsibility for specified parts of their hosting accounts rather than keeping every task centralized. The listed scope spans email, SSH, databases, mailing lists and FTP, alongside subdomain management. That makes DTC broader than a panel focused only on billing or customer records, while remaining centered on hosting administration. Linux support is specified, so it fits operators prepared to run a self-hosted system in that environment.

DTC is available as free software under the GNU LGPL, with no paid tiers described here. That can suit providers who prefer open-source software, but the product's present-day maintenance and availability are uncertain: the vendor product page was inaccessible and its homepage displayed a placeholder during research. Buyers should weigh that uncertainty before relying on DTC for core operations. Its listed capabilities do not establish DNS, backup or application-installation management, so hosts needing those functions should look for a panel that explicitly covers them. DTC is best suited to small hosts seeking core account and service administration, not operators who require verified ongoing maintenance or a wider set of hosting automation tools.

Domain Technologie Control pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Manage hosting plans, customer accounts and hosting-service accounting.
    • Delegate subdomain and email management to customers.
    • Handle SSH, databases, mailing lists and FTP accounts.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Self-hosted deployment requires Linux.
    • Current maintenance and product availability are uncertain.
    • DNS, backups and app installation are not established features.
