DNSmanager is a self-hosted web control panel for managing authoritative DNS infrastructure. It is aimed at hosting providers, data centers, DNS administrators, and resellers that need centralized control over master and slave servers. Its management scope includes domain zones, resource records, reverse IPv4 and IPv6 zones, DNSSEC configuration, and key management. Administrators can also define role-based access levels for administrators, users, and resellers.

The product is offered through two paid commercial plans: DNSmanager 6 monthly license and DNSmanager 6 annual license. Both plans are described with no stated functional limitations. A 30-day trial is available, with trial terms citing 10 or 50 domain names. DNSmanager is installed on a VPS or dedicated server and accessed through a web interface, so it suits teams that want control over the deployment environment rather than a hosted DNS service. That installation model also makes infrastructure planning part of adoption.

For operational administration, DNSmanager combines access and action logs with automatic problem detection, notifications, and a DNS management API. DNSSEC support, reverse-zone administration, and role-based access make it suitable for environments managing multiple customers or delegated responsibilities. Integration with IPmanager and ISPmanager adds value for organizations already using those ISPsystem products. Choose DNSmanager when self-hosted authoritative DNS management, reseller access, and control-panel integration are priorities. Consider an alternative if you want a free plan, a hosted deployment, or a DNS tool focused on a different operating model.
