Our verdict on Ditat
Ditat is a cloud-based transportation management system for trucking carriers, freight brokerages, and asset-based brokerages. It brings dispatch, load execution, billing, driver settlements, accounting connections, compliance workflows, maintenance, fuel optimization, reporting, and driver communication into one platform. The dispatch board supports load planning, assignment, offering, and tracking, while driver applications provide dispatch, messaging, document scanning, and status updates. Full-service carriers that want one operational system across office, driver, and asset workflows are the clearest fit.
Pricing is handled through sales, with the vendor also directing questions about enabled modules to sales or support. That approach suits carriers whose needs span multiple areas, but buyers should expect to discuss scope rather than select from a simple published tier structure. Ditat’s integration coverage is a central part of its value: native EDI supports tenders, shipment updates, acknowledgments, and invoicing, while the open API connects with accounting, ELD, telematics, fuel-card, visibility, and payment systems.
