DisplayFusion review
A Windows utility for arranging, automating, and managing multi-monitor desktops.

DisplayFusion is Windows software for managing multi-monitor desktops, aimed at people who want more control over window placement and monitor behavior. It combines multi-monitor taskbars, snapping, window movement between monitors, saved Window Position Profiles, and monitor configuration tools. Users can also manage wallpaper across monitors, customize hotkeys, and use triggers or scripted functions. It suits Windows users with multi-monitor setups who want repeatable arrangements and automated responses to application or window conditions; it is less suited to people seeking virtual-desktop-specific functions or software for another operating system.
Its positioning tools go beyond basic snapping. Window Position Profiles let users save and load arrangements, while triggers can automate placement and sizing based on application and window conditions. Monitor profiles, splitting, and padding add ways to tailor how displays behave, and monitor fading and Alt+Tab customization provide further controls. Multi-monitor taskbars and wallpaper profiles broaden the scope from individual windows to the desktop as a whole. This breadth makes DisplayFusion a fit for users who want monitor and window controls in one Windows application, rather than only a simple snap-layout utility.
The published plans show a free version for personal use with fewer features than Pro, plus a 30-day trial. Pro Standard costs $34 one time for one machine and includes a lifetime license. Pro Personal costs $49 one time for unlimited personal computers in the home, also with a lifetime license. Pro on Steam costs $39.99 one time, with a lifetime license and use wherever Steam is installed with the Steam account. Each paid option includes all DisplayFusion Pro features. Choose based on how you want to license the software and how many personal computers need coverage; look elsewhere if you need virtual-desktop-specific functions or a non-Windows platform.
