Our verdict on DigiWave Digital Banking Platform

DigiWave is Software Group’s digital banking platform for banks, fintechs, insurers, microfinance institutions and other financial service providers. It brings customer onboarding, account opening, lending, payments and configurable financial products into journeys across web and native iOS and Android channels. The platform is aimed at mid-market and enterprise providers that need to shape digital services around their products and processes, rather than add a single customer-facing feature.

Its breadth is a central consideration. Teams can configure savings, deposit, current-account, card and insurance products, while workflow, task and complaint management support operational processes. Loan origination and repayment workflows sit alongside payments, transfers and transaction authorization. Authentication options include multi-factor authentication, biometrics, e-signature and OTP. The open banking API gateway adds consent management and a developer sandbox, and integrations cover core banking, identity and KYC providers, biometrics, tokenization, credit scoring, payment and other third-party services. This scope may suit providers seeking a connected platform, but organizations with a narrow requirement may prefer a more focused product.

Deployment flexibility and commercial planning also matter. The platform page describes on-premises and public or private cloud deployment; the listed deployment options are cloud and self-hosted. Published information describes a modular platform, while pricing requires contacting sales rather than choosing a published plan. Support channels are email and phone. DigiWave is a better fit for providers prepared to assess a broader implementation with their existing banking and service systems than for buyers seeking a self-serve purchase or a straightforward standalone tool. Prospective customers should discuss the deployment model, integration scope and commercial terms with Software Group.
