Dhaedalida is a Windows software-protection tool for software authors and vendors protecting native applications and DLLs. It targets 32-bit and 64-bit PE files, including PE32, PE32+, .exe, and .dll formats, on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2019/2022. Its focus is proprietary code, licensing logic, algorithms, and other software components that need protection from analysis and tampering. A free demo does not expire, while paid editions add broader protection capabilities for commercial software.
The pricing model is a perpetual license with a one-time purchase. The Basic developer license costs €159 and includes code virtualization, string encryption, complexity control, and VM section renaming; the Basic company license costs €359 with the same highlights. Pro adds an application packer, import protection, and anti-debugging and anti-tamper defenses. It costs €199 for developers or €459 for companies. Annual renewals extend access to new versions and cost €49 for Basic developer, €99 for Basic company, €69 for Pro developer, or €139 for Pro company. Paid licenses continue working after the included 12-month update period.
Protection depth is the main reason to consider Dhaedalida. Function-level virtualization, encrypted strings, whole-application compression and encryption, import protection, and defenses against debugging, virtual machines, monitoring, sandboxes, tampering, and dumping cover several common analysis paths. The command-line engine, Marker SDK, and CI/build-pipeline automation also fit teams that want protection included in their build process. The trade-off is scope: support is centered on native Windows PE targets, so teams protecting applications for other platforms should choose a product with broader platform coverage. Dhaedalida suits Windows developers and software vendors seeking budget-conscious protection with automation; the free demo is suitable for evaluating the feature set before purchasing.
