DevHarbor is a browser-based development environment for web projects built with PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Its Monaco editor includes PHP IntelliSense, syntax highlighting, code folding, split panes and multi-file tabs, while real-time linting covers JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, PHP and SQL. The integrated MySQL manager adds SQL autocomplete, import and export, audit logs and schema management. Solo developers and small teams who want editing and database tools in one browser workspace are the clearest fit; it is less suited to teams that depend on collaborative coding or container-based workflows.

The feature set extends beyond editing: projects can be previewed inline or in a detachable view, and public URLs can be shared. DevHarbor also supports FTP and remote project editing, file uploads, ZIP operations, file history and restore. An in-IDE viewer handles common image, document, spreadsheet and data formats, including PDF, CSV, Excel, Word and JSON. This breadth is useful for browser-based work on existing sites, though the product remains focused on web development rather than a broader integration ecosystem.

The Free plan costs 0 ZAR per month and includes the full Monaco IDE, full database manager, live share links, and FTP or remote projects. Premium costs 50 ZAR per month and adds unlimited projects, unlimited databases, 2 GB of storage and priority support. Choose Premium if those limits or support matter; the Free tier already covers core editing and database functionality. DevHarbor has no live collaboration, and devcontainer support and prebuilds are not available, so developers seeking shared real-time sessions or those workflows should look elsewhere. Email is the listed support channel.
