Its scope includes 3D solids and surfaces, stopes, tunnels, roads, drill holes, and block or seam models. The focus is mine design rather than live operations such as fleet management, production tracking, or safety management, so teams seeking those operational capabilities should look elsewhere.
Design work extends beyond geometry. Deswik.CAD supports Boolean operations and slicing, import and repair of invalid solids from other mining systems, and exchange of block and grid models, GIS data, and databases. Attribute-based filters and spatial formulas help analyze design data, while reports, plots, dashboards, and schedule animations present outputs. Graphical workflows can customize repeatable design processes. These capabilities make the product a fit for teams that need mining-oriented spatial design and data handling, rather than a general-purpose CAD tool alone.
