Deskree (Tetrix) review
A strong AI knowledge and dependency-search layer, not a general-purpose application PaaS.

Deskree currently presents Tetrix as self-hosted knowledge infrastructure for engineering teams working across complex software systems. It ingests repositories, documents, and infrastructure, then maps source code, services, documentation, and dependencies into a searchable system context. The product is aimed at teams that need AI-assisted research, dependency analysis, and shared technical understanding rather than teams looking for a conventional application runtime or deployment platform. Its free Community Edition is self-hosted on a machine, while Enterprise is deployed in the customer's cloud.
Tetrix's standout capability is the breadth of its software and infrastructure analysis. It combines code, symbol, tree, semantic, and document search with deep research across multiple sources and blast-radius analysis. MCP server access and API access to the knowledge database extend that context into other workflows. Integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Slack, Notion, AWS, and Kubernetes support a mix of development, collaboration, infrastructure, and documentation systems. Team spaces, member invitations, session handoff, and two-layer role-based access control make the product more suitable for shared engineering work than a purely individual research tool.
The main consideration is category fit. Tetrix is not a general-purpose application Platform as a Service: its published capabilities center on ingestion, search, analysis, knowledge access, and collaboration rather than application deployment or runtime hosting. Community Edition suits individuals and small teams that can self-host and want a free starting point. Enterprise is the better fit for organizations that need their own cloud deployment, bring-your-own-model support, full knowledge-database access, and team controls. Teams seeking managed application hosting should choose a platform built around deployment and runtime operations instead.
