Our verdict on Designkit

Designkit is an AI marketing and design platform from Meitu for ecommerce sellers and commerce-focused creative teams. It turns product photos into listing images, lifestyle visuals, videos, advertisements, and other marketing content. Its toolkit also covers AI poster generation, text-prompt image generation, product photography and scene generation, background and object removal, image enhancement, upscaling, resizing, and AI video generation. Web, iOS, and Android access make it suited to teams creating commerce assets across desktop and mobile workflows.

The plan structure is based on credits and usage limits. The Free plan costs 0 USD per month and includes 20 credits for first login, up to 20 AI Agent images, up to 10 AI Background Generator images, limited background or object removal, and limited HD image enhancement. The Basic Plan includes 500 credits per month, up to 500 AI Agent images, up to 250 AI Background Generator images, unlimited background or object removal, and batch processing tools. The Pro Plan raises those allowances to 1,500 credits per month, up to 1,500 AI Agent images, and up to 750 AI Background Generator images, while retaining unlimited removal and batch processing.

Designkit’s strongest fit is a commerce workflow that needs more than poster creation alone. Product visuals can be generated, cleaned up, enhanced, resized for ecommerce and social platforms, and processed in batches, with video generation available for broader campaign production. The free tier gives individuals a way to start across all three supported platforms, while the paid tiers add substantially higher image allowances and workflow tools. Choose Designkit for mobile-accessible, credit-based production of ecommerce images, ads, videos, and posters. It is a less focused choice when the primary requirement is detailed poster-specific output control rather than a wider commerce content toolkit.
