Deno Deploy is a serverless platform for deploying and running JavaScript and TypeScript applications in the cloud or on self-hosted infrastructure. It is designed for individual developers, teams, and organizations building dynamic web services, APIs, SaaS products, static sites, and developer platforms. The runtime supports Deno and Node.js compatibility, while platform features include custom domains, CDN caching, integrated database connectivity, and static site hosting.

The published plans provide a clear progression by usage and team needs. Free supports personal use and smaller projects with 1M requests per month, 20 GiB of egress bandwidth, five custom domains, and community support. Pro costs $20 per month and adds team collaboration with advanced features, 5M included requests, 200 GiB of egress bandwidth, 100 custom domains, and email plus community support. Builder costs $200 per month and targets Subhosting users and growing platforms, with 25M requests, 2,000 GiB of egress bandwidth, 1,000 custom domains, and 20 concurrent builds. Enterprise adds custom usage limits, unlimited custom domains, a 99.95% reliability SLA, and SOC2 Type 1 included.

Its feature breadth is the main reason to consider it. Deno Deploy combines server-side request handling, response streaming through Web Streams and Server-Sent Events, cron scheduling with retries and dashboard visibility, GitHub repository deployment, integrated builds, and CLI deployment through the deno deploy command. Logs, traces, metrics, and OpenTelemetry-based observability support operational visibility. Teams needing a JavaScript-focused platform with scheduled workloads, streaming, databases, and multiple deployment paths should find the coverage relevant. Smaller projects can start on Free, while higher-volume teams have defined paid tiers. Choose another option if your requirements extend beyond web deployment or if community-only support does not fit the project.
