Our verdict on DeloPay
DeloPay is a payment orchestration platform for merchants, SaaS businesses, marketplaces, agencies, and online stores. It connects multiple payment providers and methods through one API, with hosted and embeddable checkout options. DeloPay does not act as merchant of record or settle funds itself; connected providers process the underlying transactions. Its feature set is aimed at businesses that need to coordinate providers, payment methods, recurring billing, and marketplace activity in one layer.
The platform’s strongest area is orchestration depth. Rules can route payments by country, currency, payment method, and cost, while automatic provider failover and configurable retry chains support payment recovery. DeloPay also provides tokenization and vaulting, recurring subscriptions with billing connectors, signed webhooks, normalized payment events, analytics, refunds, disputes, and reporting. Its connector list includes Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, Checkout.com, Braintree, Klarna, Mollie, Worldpay, Cybersource, and Nuvei, giving merchants a broad provider mix through web and API access.
Pricing is usage-based rather than monthly. The Starter plan begins at 4 percent per transaction and includes a volume-based orchestration fee, with no setup fee and no monthly plan. Growth, Scale, High volume, and Power also use volume-based orchestration fees with no setup fee or monthly plan, while Enterprise uses custom volume pricing. DeloPay deducts its percentage from a prepaid credit balance, and underlying provider fees are separate. That structure may suit merchants prioritizing broad payment control over a lower transaction cost, but businesses with high payment volume or simple single-provider needs should examine the fee impact carefully. DeloPay is a strong fit for multi-provider operations, while its starting percentage makes it less suitable for cost-sensitive transaction flows.
